These Type 29 flap discs are versatile products that can be used for aggressive stock removal to surface blending. Efficient aluminum flap wheels are used in various industries like automotive, household, transportation, mining, shipbuilding, foundries, construction, fabrication, etc. All our abrasive products are made with quality materials and exceed ANSI and EU European Standards. These flap discs excel on soft metals like aluminum. They don't gum up like a regular zirconia or aluminum flap disc. The stearate coating, which gives the flap disc its silver color, will liquefy under heat and provide a protective coat on the flaps that prevents loading/gumming up on soft metals.
